Booking and Tariff Information

We are open April - October inclusive. 

Our 2018 nightly tariff - regardless of high - low season, is £75 per night. .

Our tariff is fully inclusive with no extras or VAT chargeable, and is payable in advance. 

We also require an additional returnable £100 damage/security deposit to be paid in advance.

Short breaks: The property may be available for breaks of less than a week on a late availability basis - e.g. for a long weekend or mid week break; please feel free to enquire, although please note we can only accept bookings for a minimum of the tariff chargeable for 3 nights.

Making a Booking: Bookings may be made by phone, or email or online via Owners Direct. If phoning us it would be appreciated if you would please not telephone after 7pm. Reservations will be held for 5 working days pending receipt of a £50 Booking Deposit. The booking is not confirmed until the Booking Deposit, along with the names of those in your party and full address/contact details have been received.

Payments: We accept bank transfers (we can provide details), online payments (via Owners Direct) or cheque payments by post but are unable to accept cards. Overseas guests are required to cover the additional cost of any bank charges resulting in payment by international bank transfer. 

Following receipt of the £50 Booking Deposit, the Balance payment, together with the damage deposit, see Terms and Conditions, of £100 in case of breakages, must be received as cleared funds in our account 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday (or, in the case of a booking made at short notice, by a date agreed with ourselves). 

A booking confirmation/receipt will be sent to you promptly, usually by email, with notice of when any balance is due. Once the dates of a booking and names of those in your party have been confirmed to you, they can only be changed by agreement.

Check In/Check Out: Please note arrivals are between 3 - 5pm, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Entry is by means of a keysafe, for which we will supply the entry code; we will endeavour to meet and greet wherever possible. The property must be vacated no later than 10.00am, at which time we will need to enter the building to commence changeover. Our usual weekly changeover day is a Friday.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund in the event of cancellation by you. We strongly advise you take out your own holiday insurance if necessary.

We have been to this cottage about six times and the level of accommodation is superb. Everything you could want is there waiting for you. The cottage is always spotless and you are always greeted with open arms. One of the nicest cottages we have ever been to, and an outstanding area
